47th EBES Conference - Berlin
April 18-20, 2024
Jointly Organized with
GLO (The Global Labor Organization)
In Collaboration with
FOM University of Applied Sciences
(Hybrid with both in-person and online paper presentation)

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the 47th EBES Conference in Berlin, Germany which will bring together many distinguished researchers from all over the world. Participants will find opportunities for presenting new research, exchanging information, and discussing current issues. Although we focus on Europe and Asia, all papers from major economics, finance, and business fields – theoretical or empirical – are highly encouraged. The conference will be held as a hybrid event which allows the participants to present via Zoom platform and in-person.

The conference is jointly organized with GLO at FOM University of Applied Sciences, Berlin. In particular, EBES organizes a separate program with separate registration and paper call and GLO does the same. However, participants of EBES 47 Berlin and GLO Berlin 2024 will have access to all program parts of both conferences.

Qualified papers can be published in EBES journals (Eurasian Business Review and Eurasian Economic Review) or EBES proceedings books after a peer review process without any submission or publication fees. EBES journals (EABR and EAER) and proceedings books are published by Springer. While EAER is indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics) and Scopus, EABR is indexed in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Scopus. Furthermore, the qualified and previously unpublished manuscripts from the conference will be considered for publication in the regular issues of Defence and Peace Economics (SSCI & Scopus) and Review of Managerial Science (SSCI & Scopus) after a quick review process.

In addition, all the submitted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings in a USB. After the conference, participants will have the opportunity to send their paper to be published in the Springer’s series Eurasian Studies in Business and Economics. This is indexed by Scopus. It will also be sent to Clarivate Analytics in order to be reviewed for coverage in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH). Please note that the 10th-28th, 29 (Vol. 1), and 30th EBES Conference Proceedings are accepted for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH). Other conference proceedings are in progress.

Abstract submission and registration for the 47th EBES Conference is open now. We would also like to remind you that the extended deadline for abstract submission is March 22, 2024. Also, the decision regarding the acceptance/rejection of each abstract/paper will be communicated with the corresponding author within a week of submission.

I look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you on April 18-20, 2024 in Berlin, Germany.

Sincerely,

Klaus F. Zimmermann

President
