55th EBES Conference – Budapest will take place on April 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2026 in Budapest, Hungary. It will be hosted by Mathias Corvinus Collegium with the support of the Istanbul Economic Research Association.

The conference will be held in a hybrid mode. Thus, participants can either attend the sessions and present their papers face-to-face at the conference venue or choose to do the same through online platforms. For more information about the presentation modes, please click here. For now, only the first two days of the conference (April 16th and/or 17th) will be open to in-person participation, and the third day will be entirely online.

After the conference, we will send the conference materials: Presentation certificate and invoice as PDF and to online presenters who want them printed/signed/stamped via express postal service. Conference program/abstract book with ISBN and conference proceedings will be available on a cloud server for participants to download as well.

Abstract submission for the 55th EBES Conference will open on December 1, 2025. We would also like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission is March 17, 2026. Also, the decision regarding the acceptance/rejection of each abstract/paper will be communicated with the corresponding author within a week of submission.
