Sciences). Among others, he has worked at Macquarie University, the

Public Economics. His research fields are population, labor, development, and
migration.
Wolfgang Karl Härdle's research focus is on quantitative finance, in particular on multivariate methods in finance, as well as on methods for dimension reduction and computer-based statistics. Härdle is founder of the BRC Blockchain Research Center. He managed the Collaborative Research Center CRC649 “Economic Risk” (2005-2016) that researched multiple forms of risks in a global context. He directed the Sino German Research Training Group IRTG1792 “High Dimensional Non Stationary Time Series” (2013-2023). WK Härdle is known for paradigm-shifting research directions. He develops new research technologies in the field of machine learning, explainable AI. Since 2019 he is Yushan Scholar in Taiwan and invented CRIX the CRypto currency IndeX. Marco Vivarelli is a full professor at the Catholic University of Milano, where he is also Director of the Institute of Economic Policy. He is Professorial Fellow at UNU-MERIT, Maastricht; Research Fellow at IZA; Fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO). He is member of the Scientific Executive Board of the Eurasia Business and Economics Society (EBES); member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO, Vienna) and has been scientific consultant for the International Labour Office (ILO), World Bank (WB), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the European Commission. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Eurasian Business Review, Editor of Small Business Economics, Associate Editor of Industrial and Corporate Change, Associate Editor of Economics EJournal, member of the Editorial Board of Sustainability and he has served as a referee for more than 70 international journals. Justin Yifu LIN is Dean of Institute of New Structural Economics and Honorary Deans of National School of Development and Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at Peking University. He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank, 2008-2012. He is the author of more than 30 books including Beating the Odd,the Quest for Prosperity, New Structural Economics and Demystifying the Chinese Economy. He received PhD in economics from the University of Chicago in 1986. He is a Corresponding Fellow of British Academy and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences for Developing World.
