58th EBES Conference – Cairo will take place on January 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2027 in Cairo, Egypt. It will jointly be organized with the Youssef Nabih Department of Accounting, Onsi Sawiris School of Business at The American University in Cairo with the support of the Istanbul Economic Research Association.
The conference will be held in a hybrid mode. Starting with the 58th EBES Conference, the in-person and online portions of the conference will be organized separately. The first two days of the conference (January 13th and 14th) will be dedicated to in-person participation, and the third day (January 15th) will be entirely online. Regular in-person sessions will be held exclusively in person and will
not be streamed or accessible online. During the in-person days, only special sessions — such as the opening speech, editors’ session, keynote speech, and the best paper award session — will be available for online viewing. After the conference, we will send the conference materials: Presentation certificate and invoice as PDF and to online presenters who want them printed/signed/stamped via express postal service. Conference program/abstract book with ISBN and conference proceedings will be available on a cloud server for participants to download as well.
Abstract submission for the 58th EBES Conference will open on September 15, 2026. We would also like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission is December 7, 2026. Also, the decision regarding the acceptance/rejection of each abstract/paper will be communicated with the corresponding author within a week of submission.
