At the 56th EBES Conference, the John P. Rust Best Paper Award went to 

“Mandatory ESG Disclosure and Debt Concentration” by Fengqin Freya Chen from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China; Yuan Huang from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; and Walid Saffar from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.
