In the 29th EBES Conference – Lisbon, the best paper award went to
“Optimal Policies, Middle Class Development and Human Capital Accumulation under Elite Rivalry” by Elena Sochirca from Universidade do Minho, EEG, Portugal and Pedro Cunha Neves from Universidade da Beira Interior, Portugal.
